This data can't be true. How could the TC have such bad marks when they only been in office for 3 months. This poll must of been swayed by the anti-light folks that have a gripe with the TC. In any case, I would like to understand why such bad marks and what does the TC have to do to improve.

Just curious. If there are now 54 registered members at this forum, how can there be 84 votes recorded in this poll. Seems like the old Chicago voting system, though, I am sure, there is a more logical explanation. Just curious.

The poll was at the old site before people had to register. In a somewhat related vein, I have noticed that people are more polite and the posts are less obnoxious now that there's some (albeit anonymous) accountability for the members doing the posting.

Well Doc, it’s very simple. The poll was done on the home page of Wethersfield.com which doesn’t require membership to view or take polls. So any of the many viewers we have could voice their opinions anonymously through the poll with no membership required. As you might know, this is by no mean a scientific poll but it only lets an IP address vote once. The poll has nothing to do with the forum and the comparison is like apples to oranges.

I notice that there haven't been any polls since this one... And although I am sure the WTPA would disagree, most people seem pretty pleased with the progress in town since the current TC took over. Your thoughts as to other poll ideas? Perhaps we could re-run this one??

I'd suggest skipping any repeats of that poll - those whose position is in the minority will discredit the entire survey and there are only 110+/- people in here. In addition, every Council meeting shows that people have different opinions about everything.
