Motion:
Councilor Roberts moved "TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWN MANAGER TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT IF AWARDED A GRANT FOR THREE POLICE OFFICERS FOR THREE YEARS FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, COPS OFFICE" seconded by Councilor Walsh. 9-0-0.

First an SRO (School Resource Officer) for the WHS (with the taxpayers footing the whole bill after three years and every year thereafter......)
and now
three new "TRO" (Town Resource Officers) the town-wide version, with the taxpayers footing the whole bill after three years and every year thereafter.........
