Eight months ago, politicians were wringing their hands
over high-energy costs. Now Hartford wants to tax
heating fuels and make heating your home more
expensive. They’re even considering more gasoline taxes!
HARTFORD THINKS YOU SHOULD PAY MORE
FOR NATURAL GAS, PROPANE, AND HEATING OIL
Hartford wants to extend NEW taxes to things that
aren’t taxed. And then REPEAL tax exemptions
on things it doesn’t tax now – like heating fuels,
prescription drugs, food…
HAD ENOUGH?
It’s wrong for the government to be taxing necessities
like home heating at a time when we can least afford
it.We already pay the highest residential electric rates
in the lower 48 states.We can’t let home heating fuels
wind up in that category, too.

natural gas that will increase the cost of living for every
single family in America.

The same empty suits that were campaigning on the platform of energy is too expensive are now the ones that are going to stick it up everybody's kazoo.

They are all out of touch and won't even think about cutting spending! This train wreck has been coming down the tracks for quite sometime, with binding arbitration, feel good projects and good ole pork projects.
