I stopped by to see how the new and improved library came out. I was extremely dissappointed. You pull in the lot and are met with the same old ugly brick facade. Still the same small parking lot. The inside has been carpeted and rearranged but looks almost the same as it always does aside from a better staircase and railings. One computer kiosk was already out of order. Seem to me, they basically opened up the childrens area and move it but other than that, it's pretty much the same. Not even close to Newington or Rocky Hill. What was the final cost for the taxpayers? The courant reported 750,000 but I thought it was more?

Lady: you've said exactly what I also think of the "new" library. How long were the citizens inconvenienced by the library closings? How much of our tax money went into this? We got a mismanaged project that has few improvements.
