This topic was on the Council agenda for this week. About $85 million being talked about; special election to approve could come in February 09. Who knows what got talked about at Council meeting ?

According to the Wethersfield Post, the Council voted unanimously to indefinitely postpone the referendum due to the poor economy and the failure of three school referendums in nearby towns on Election Day.
