Well it's almost been 2 years since Russ was elected to squeeze into the chair for the 28th District up on the Hill.
Being pretty much a blank slate, he has had to be inscribed and "lead by" the other mules already in the team ahead of him.
They have harnessed him into positions and situations which, required by the "team at all cost (taxpayers be darned)" play book, might, just might, curry strokes and favor from the party faithful and the gullible and nebulous cloud of unaffiliated voters.
He has certainly, at his current and tender Legislative age, not been been trusted with any meaningful or substantial politically appointed position on the Hill by the mule team leaders. (That is only offered to the maturing mules who stay in line, not straining against the bit and reins of the team leader. You can bet your Borax on it!)
Have you ever wondered how he is able to afford "serving" on the Hill? He must have a rather flexible and soft arrangement with someone in the stable. How else could he afford to serve? He certainly does not have the academic degrees and the big-bucks connections that Doyle has elsewhere.
Russes political ads in the Wethersfield Life are telling, soft-selling the same old affable, underqualified, lead-by by the harness Russ. An innovator and leader he is not.
I wonder what meaningful, taxpayers-benefiting, college certified, educational courses he has taken in the last two years, outside of cooking. Anything to show that he is trying to fortify whatever abilities might exist behind, what I will politely call, the "brawn".

Here's a brief summary of the Morin job history: He was a long time employee of the state D.O.T. When he was elected to the state legislature, he was required to leave his state job. He might have had enough years to get a retirement package. His appointed replacement on the Town Council was Paul Montinieri. As soon as Morin left the state D.O.T., he was hired by a company in Suffield involved with recycling etc. The owner of that company??? You ask??? The answer: Paul Montinieri, the very same. HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
