After watching the Senate debates, I will be voting for Alan Schlesinger for the Senate. He was the only one to offer fresh ideas and explain his views.
In the beginning he didn't seem viable, but once you see and listen to him he is the real deal.
I can't believe the "Republican Establishment " has thrown him out without giving him a chance.
Joe Lieberman is as far left as they come, and has courted the Republican vote and then calls for a complete takeover of the House and Senate by the Dems with all the kool-aid drinkers in tow.
Vote for Alan Schlesinger and let's shake up Washington.

After watching the debate I feel the same way Jack. I went into it liking Lamont, but him and Lieberman did nothing but exchange nasties, and it was soooo unimpressive. I like Schlessinger, and the clincher for me was his stance on immigrants.
He's got my vote! ;D

Ok, I will throw in my 2ยข too.
Let's be realistic for just a moment (in the polling booth).
There is no way that Schlesinger is going to win. A vote for him may make you feel good, but it will be ultimately unsatisfying and worthless.
The race is and shall be Lamont -v- Lieberman.
I will grant you that Schlesinger has made some great points and pointed deliveries. He certainly was entertaining. He may even be right.
But, Schlesinger will not win. All he can do is draw from Lamont or Lieberman or have no net effect on either of them.
Don't throw your vote away; make it count; please.

FootDoc:
I disagree with you I think he has a very good chance to win. If all 400,000 republicans in the state supported him he would be a shoe in.
Ned Lamont has been endorsed by the communist party and is a puppet of move on .org.
Doc,don't tell me about throwing your vote away, if ALL Republicans would support the party candidate, Alan Schlesinger would be elected in a three way race.
Look at the big picture, Joe has done nothing except fight against everything Republicans stand for and wants Republicans to vote for him and then says he wants the Democrats to control everything. JOE IS A LIBERAL AND WILL NOT CHANGE, BECAUSE REPUBLICANS VOTE FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!

JackAss / Go Kerry!: I must continue to disagree your assessment of the likelihood of a Schlesinger victory.
It just isn't going to happen.
- If all 400,000 republicans in the state supported him, he would be a shoe in," you wrote. Again, let's get real; your hypothetical is not going to be proven.
- That multi-millionaire Lamont may have been endorsed by some communistic party ( www.cpusa.org ? ) is inconsequential.
- That he is a puppet of MoveOn ( www.moveon.org ) is rhetorical hyperbole.
- Lieberman is being supported by some of the staunch, old-guard members of the Republican Party, all the way to the top or bottom, depending on your perspective.
- They prefer the "devil" they know to the one which they don't "know".
You have your perspective and propose one outcome of the election. I have mine.
How about our comparing notes on "the day after" - Nov. 8, 2006?

Doctor, you sound like one of the staunch, old-guard members of the Republican Party that will not support the candidate for whatever reason.
You sound giddy in hoping he will lose.

Judge, I will leave you to your innuendos and guesstimations. I will stick with what I have said before:JackAss / Go Kerry!: I must continue to disagree your assessment of the likelihood of a Schlesinger victory.
