There Goes The Budget

As winter settles in a little early, the town crews are out plowing (on overtime of course) and next week we'll hear that the snow budget is 50% spent after 1 storm.

This happens every year with a smoke and mirror budget, keeping their fingers crossed that Mother Nature will take it easy on us.

It could be alot worst, West Hartford is only doing 1 round of leave pickups, due to budget problems.

With a snow storm coming this week, do we have money to plow or should we stock up and hunker down.

With taxes at an all time high, why is it we have potholes multiplying like rabbits. I have not seen any evidence of pothole patching anywhere in town.

I have coffee with the same potholes daily.

They probably are waiting for the weather to get better so they can do them all at once. Um, right....
