Watching the 8-16 council meeting on TV, Mr. Young suggested weight limits on our streets, because today's vehicles are too big and heavy.
Mr. Young, The Town could build weigh stations like on the highways, and then You, George and Rocco can man the stations and hand out overweight tickets.

Mr. Young, Evidently you read the Hartford Courant article on overweight vehicles out of California. I thought you might have a little more imagination than that by just reiterating the CA law that is not enforced.
Testing has been done by road engineers about what long-term damage could or would be done by the use of these heavier vehicles. The answer was simple, if the roads are built correct, nothing will happen to them because of the extra weight.
Maybe we should get rid of the school buses, seems they might be a little over weight too.
