Yup, you heard it here. The Prez of the WTPA has put his house on the market and is having a swanky retirement spot built for himself in the tax haven of Rocky Hill.
I heard through a family member today he said he has had "enough" and that he feels this town is in "trouble".
What will it take for the council to hear our cries for relief! Or have they turned a deaf ear?

Or have they turned a deaf ear? With all due respect, you are off the mark. The Council will see the departure of that individual as a victory for their side and their point of view. The "leave town if you can't afford the taxes" mantra has been around for decades. And ridding the "public comment" section of one more negative voice will make it easier to steamroll the public with more half-baked referenda and programs.

I realize they will see it as a victory, I agree with you there. When will they start to realize they SERVE US at OUR WILL.
