Meltdown of Former Mayor

After watching the May 3rd Council meeting on Channel 16 last night, I'm embarrassed that the former Mayor is from the same party as myself.

After the civil debate about Cottone Field, the former Mayor snapped, and packed up her stuff and left, with the discussion still being debated.

Talk about take your ball and go home.

Yes that was very dissapointing to see one of our elected officials act like a 2 year old. No wonder why she's not Mayor any more, she can't handle the heat.

She acted like a waffling democrat.

Someone told me there was another reason for her leaving like that.

Also, IronMan, now that you have made me hungry, what's the best place around to get waffles. I haven't had any since I was little.

Or, perhaps she acted like a pancaked republican beneath the steamroller of the democrat juggernaut.

Caution: a widely imbalanced, two-party system will be healthy for no one, let alone the citizens! As citizens must provide a check and balance to their elected officials, and the branches of State and Federal goverment are intended to balance each other, the two parties should provide effective balance for each other.

He might not be the best public speaker, but he and his team ran with a platform, and so far they are keeping some of their promises.

At least he dosen't have a hissy fit and pack up and leave.
