1)-Do you know whether any literature is available yet from the US Govt on Med-D? And, if so, does Weth. Town Hall have any copies? 2)-A reminder to everybody; your private insurance plans MIGHT require that you sign up for Med-D; there are rumors that some private plans are going to cut back. 3)-I believe that people have until May 2005 to sign up at the basic dollar rates (not sure about that). 4)-There is also talk of deferring the whole Med-D program for 1 year to help the Govt pay for Katrine/Rita.

cruzrt, Please refer to my original post and follow the link at the bottom (Study Details First) which takes you to the CMS/Medicare website page with all of the current information; print out what you need. Locally, you can stop by Town Hall and speak with someone in the Adult and Youth Services Department (e.g. Dr. Nancy Stilwell, or Christine Taylor); it is this department which will be serving the educational needs of the public regarding Part D Medicare here. Thanks for asking. This topic is too important to leave unattended or ignored.
