Called up to active duty, Douglas Shipman, the Executive Director of the Wethersfield Historical Society and Army Reservist for 23 years, is now serving in Irag as Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Shipman - Operations Officer with the Providence, RI, 1st Brigade, 98th Division. He is stationed in Iraq.
