- INTELLIGENCE REPORT: WANTED!
- SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT: WPD # 04-15761
- Wanted in connection to a sexual assault that occurred on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at approximately 1730 hours in the vicinity of the Heritage Nature Path. The incident took place in a wooded area just west of Wethersfield High school track.
- The suspect physically forced a 62 year old female into a wooded area where he sexually assaulted her. He threatened to kill the suspect and implied that he had a knife.
- The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's, approximately 5'7" tall, weighing approximately 140-160 lbs. The suspect was wearing all black and carrying a red colored sweatshirt.

- "The Police Department will host a Community Safety Presentation on Thursday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Department's Community Room. The purpose of the event is to provide tips on preventing becoming a victim and for the Chief to hear and respond to public safety concerns."

- Though NOT required nor requested by the WPD, you MIGHT want to call well in advance to let them know you would like to attend. A larger than expected turnout might force a change of venue.
