I wish to publically thank for Mr. Lou Sanzaro for having posted his comments (above). He and I can certainly agree that protecting our electoral process from corruption and illegal control is one of the most fundamental principles of America and that those who tamper with the process are indeed outside the law, social convention and are acting un-American.

We must be vigilant to protect the process from such corruption and illegality.

If you have also been the victim of illegal, political dirty tricks, if someone has trespassed on your property and if you have had your signs stolen, then I strongly recommend that you:

1. call the WPD: 571-2900 and file a formal complaint,
2. call the Town Manager: 721-2801 to urge better protection
3. download a copy of the SEEC complaint form and file it: SEEC Complaint Form

Remind your children that this is NOT a game and that when these rules are broken, there are real consequences:

The removal of a political sign from private property is LARCENY in the 6th (CGS SEC. 53A -125b), a Class C Misdemeanor which can result in JAIL TIME of up to 1 year plus fines (per count).
